The four career karakas

• Sun — authority, leadership, government and administration; recognition and the public role. A strong Sun in the D10 reads as standing and visibility.
• Saturn — service, labour, structure, and any work built through sustained effort; the karaka of karma (work) itself.
• Mercury — commerce, communication, analysis and skilled trades; business and intellectual professions.
